Necessary Tests for High Bay Light
Light plays an essential role in our lives. It can guide us in the direction of the way forward and ensure that we have a comfortable environment. So how much do you know about linear high bay light? Let’s talk about some tests that are required for high bay light.
The first test to talk about is a thermal test, as we all know, the heat dissipation ability of the lamp is very important, which is related to its service life. For our company's high bay light, referring to UL1598, UL8750, IEC60598, and other standards, the lamp chips, PCB board, and driver of the lamp are tested at key locations. The test temperatures are 25 and 60 degrees Celsius, and each test is conducted for 12 hours to ensure that the lamp meets the environmental usage requirements of the established standards.
The second test to talk about is the hoisting test, most of the installation methods of high bay light are hoisting, so the weighing capacity is very important. For our company's high bay light, we adopt the requirements of UL1598/EN60598. We use a lifting weight more than four times the weight of the lamp body to conduct a 4-hour lifting test to ensure that the product meets the load-bearing requirements.
In addition to the two tests mentioned above, there is also an aging test, power test insulation resistance test, and other tests are also essential. So what else do you know besides these? Feel free to add more!
